If you have not lived in Pennsylvania continuously for the past 10 years, you will need to complete an FBI background check. This background check requires you to go to a state-approved location to have your finger prints digitally scanned and submitted to the FBI.
This process will take several days (weeks) to complete.
To complete this process, take the following steps:
- Email [email protected] to request a payment code (if you do not request a payment code, you will have to pay for the background check out of pocket).
- Open a browser window and go to https://uenroll.identogo.com (or click here to open a new window).
- Enter one of the following service codes:
- If you are a coach or an unpaid volunteer enter: 1KG6ZJ (You will see text along the lines of "DHS-Volunteer" this is PA Dept. of Health - Volunteer, the designation for unpaid volunteers for activity organizations like Pottstown SC).
- If you are a paid volunteer or a referee enter: 1KG738 (You will see text along the lines of "DHS-Employee or Contractor" this is for a PA Department of Health Services Employee/Contractor which is their designation for paid volunteers in a service/activity organization.
- While appointments are not required at IdentiGO, they are strongly encouraged.
- You will be prompted for your location information
- Enter your employer information
- Enter your citizen and country of origin information
- Enter your demographic and biometric information
- Enter your address
- Select the appropriate documentation that you will take to the appointment. e.g. Driver's License, State Issue Id, or Photo ID Waiver for a Minor
- If you are between the ages of 14 and 17, you will need a parent or legal guardian to sign a Photo ID Waiver for a Minor and take it with you to your appointment.
- Select the location of your choice
- Choose a date and time, or select walk-in (appointments are strongly encouraged)
- Click Submit
- Go to your appointment
- After you receive your results, submit the results to Stack Sports.
