If you are under the age of 14, you are unable to be a referee.

If you are a volunteer between the ages of 14 and 17, and have lived during the entirety of the last 10 years in Pennsylvania, your parent or legal guardian must sign the Child Safety Affidavit for Minors. Also, if you have not lived in Pennsylvania for the entirety of the last 10 years, but you have already obtained an FBI background check since moving to Pennsylvania, then your parent or legal guardian must sign the Child Safety Affidavit for Minors.

Lastly, if you have not lived in Pennsylvania for the entirety of the last 10 years, and you have not obtained an FBI background check since moving to Pennsylvania, then you must obtain an FBI background check in order to volunteer.
